BikeAway Lockers: Locker Hire Service

BikeAway, Britain’s best-known provider of secure cycle parking lockers, has teamed up with health, education and local authorities all over the UK to provide secure cycle parking lockers for hire.

Prices start at £30 for the year with a £20 refundable deposit on the key. Cost will depend on level of subsidy granted by our partners and on the location of the locker. The income covers administration, maintenance and repairs.

Ten state-of-the-art BikeAway lockers were been installed in the shadow of Plymouth Pavilions for long-term hire to commuters who would rather cycle to work than drive a car through rush-hour traffic.

The BikeAways will keep cycles dry, secure, and out of sight of thieves and vandals – and, at a cost of less than 0.70p per week for exclusive use of a locker 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, commuters who switch from car to cycle will not only save a small fortune in petrol and parking charges but will do their bit to make the planet a touch greener, too.
